The Horde and the Harem is a spirited band of troublemakers, creating danceable folk-pop music thick with layers of harmony. Formed in Seattle but comprised of members originally scattered along the West Coast (and one straggler from the Midwest), the group's music has a flavor distinct to the Pacific Northwest. Since the band's formation in 2009 they have released three EPs and their debut full-length A Long Midwinter. They are no stranger to the highways and have played major venues along the west coast as well as notable festivals including Bumbershoot, Capitol Hill Block Party, Northwest Folklife, Summer Meltdown, and SXSW.
